These two programs were a bit of Perl I wrote Long Long Ago to help use trn to read mailing lists that were in MH folders. These are in "works on my machine, will need patching to fit yours" state. YMMV and all. The tm script happens first; it generates an active file and a .newsrc based on what's in ~/Mail/* and runs a trn that's been patched to think its spool is ~/Mail and its active file is ~/Mail/active. Afterwards, tmclup gets run and removes whatever's been marked read. I use other facilities to send mail. At present, it's not possible to go back and read earlier articles in a thread because they're gone; I'm contemplating moving my list subscriptions to an INN-injector and using that with a vanilla newsreader instead. adb
